The name of the restaurant and the food they provide don't complement each other however the quality of food and service overcomes all negatives. The restaurant is situated in the heart of Islamabad and tries it's utmost best to live up to the expectations. A brilliant combination of fine dinning and finger licking taste provides an amazing family experience. The food is freshly made , and appearance is quite eye catching. The atmosphere is well maintained with good and sufficient amount of parking nearby. The dessert provides a very tender and sweet end of the evening.

The name itself brings green Italian meadows to one's mind and naturally excepts fine Italian dinning.However restaurant is nowhere near in meeting that standard.The friendly and comfortable ambiance of kohsar market turns to dust upon entering the restaurant. Although the positive existed in the shape of good lighting & well conditioned , the food quality itself deteriorated the overall experience. The pasta was under-cooked and the lasagna we ordered had a very mediocre taste with a very un-italic appearance.However, fair amount of appreciation should be given to waiters and staff for providing a very friendly service.

Monal (Islamabad)

Monal Islamabad is one of the most beautiful and satisfying restaurant I've ever been to.The view is esthetic in the morning when you visit it at night the view is breathtaking.The environment is very peaceful and there hasn't been one moment of my life when i have visited this place and it was not crowded.the food here is very savory and mouth watering,never the less the presentation has never failed to impress me .

When in doubt, go to Chaye khana. Chaye khana is my go to place when i just wanna have some decent breakfast without worrying about the taste. Not to forget that its right next to my house so i can practically walk in without having to drive all the way to some place for some nashta! The ambiance of this place is great as well and you can sit as long as you want and just sip on your cup of tea and no waiter will keep an eye on you to check when will you leave.

We ordered Qeema with 2 Parathas and a Pakistani Omelete with 2 cups of karak chaye and in less than 1500 rupees we had a fulfilling and tasty breakfast for 2/3 people.

Their Qeema is one of the bests i had in Islamabad and i am not even exaggerating. The Parathas are made fresh as well unlike the usual dawn Parathas you get at most of the places which will give you a stomachache later. #TASTY#FOOD#HYGIENIC

 We requested the waiter to serve us tea in big mugs instead of the cups and they happily did it.

The Pakistani Omelete was good as well with a normal balance of spices & chopped veggies.

We ended up eating more than our appetite but it was so worth it.

Today i will tell you guys about my food experience in a very famous cafe that is located in F-7 Islamabad.The name of the cafe in "Nando's"
We heard a lot about this cafe, about their food and most of all the sauces and spices they used on top of their food.
So, we decided to give it a try.
Yesterday i went to this cafe with couple of my friends.
We ordered their special peri peri whole chicken.

It was a piece of chicken of your own choice e.g:- whole leg piece of a chicken  or whole breast piece of chicken completely cooked and on top of it added on their special peri peri sauce of your own choice.

The sauce comes in mild, medium, hot and extra hot peri peri sauce.
To give it a try i ordered the extra hot sauce one and guess what it was really hot and spicy and while eating it brings tears to my eyes.
So, if you guys are willing to eat the extra hot one be my guest. But if you are sensitive to spices then please don't go for the extra hot one instead order the mild or medium spicy one.
Now lets talk about the taste and quality of the food.
Both the quality and taste of the food was up to the mark. Although the food was bit expensive but the sauces that are used in the food cover up all the expensiveness as i have never ever tasted the sauces that were in the Nando's. The peri peri sauces was indeed the best sauces that i have ever tasted here in Islamabad.
Now in the end to cover up our burning mouths we ordered something sweet in the end.

We ordered a chocolate fillet cake. It was perfectly blended with chocolate both inside with melted chocolate and outside with soft and hard chocolate.
The cake was very delicious, and it ended the burning sensation in our mouths because of its sweet, creamy taste.
According to my overall food experience in Nando's i give Nando's 4.5/5 both in quality of food and in taste of food.
For all those people who love spicy food i will definitely recommend you guys to do visit this place once.

Final verdict :
Chicken bowl: Half veggie fried rice , half chow-min, and sesame honey chicken (so damn good)

Prawn bowl: Half Egg fried rice, half veggie chow-min and korien honey glazed prawns.

Their fried rice and chowmein is a lot better then other restaurants. Trust me a very unique flavor , You'll savor every bite.

Today i will tell you guys about my food experience in one the best both desi and western style cafe that is located F-7 Kohsar Market.
The cafe name is "Sattar Buksh". Not "Starbucks" its "Sattar Buksh". I know it sounds funny but it really is a cafe name here in Islamabad.

Now lets talk about my food experience in this cafe.
Yesterday i went to this cafe with my friends.We were looking for some tea and something little bit to eat.

So, i ordered their special tea with chicken wrap up.

Both the tea and the food was presented to me very well. The tea tasted very nice and it was not very hard it was just like a fine milk tea.They also give us a fresh cookie with tea as complimentary.Their was also many options among teas e.g:- their was masala chai, patti thok ka chai( hard tea) and etc. 
Now to the BBQ Chicken Wrap. It was very delicious. The sauces that was used in the chicken wrap up was not that much spicy although it was a little bit spicy but not too much. They also give extra sauce with includes spicy mayo sauce and ketchup for dipping the chicken wrap up. Overall the quality of food was very nice and it was desi food presented to us in western style.
I give both to the tea and chicken wrap up 4.5/5 stars for both quality and presentation of food.
If you guys are looking for the best high tea experience then this is the best place to dine in.

Strawberry Margarita was really good , it did not have the typical strawberry syrup like most margaritas contain and had fresh strawberries blended perfectly.

I went to Remanence one fine day l had "fiery fish" which was yummy. Not the best or out of the world kind of yummy but yummy. Mashed potatoes were SO GOOD. Better than fish, dare I say. 

I ordered ginger-lemon beer to go with my fiery fish but it was TOO SWEET for my liking so they were courteous enough to change the drink and serve a fresh pomegranate juice. Great customer service. 

The ambience was very good. They have a bookshelf with a nice collection of books. You can read the books there and even take them home to return later after reading. That's a very kind gesture I must admit. The culture of book reading is dying already, so that's a great community service. 

They accommodate you for birthday parties etc. with FREE decoration and stuff. How cool is that? 

Go give it a try people, if you haven't already.

As I had a really good lunch, I wanted same for the dinner as well and as my friends had paid me visit and they suggested to have dinner at Bull Steak house Bahria. I like my steak medium rare, served on a cold platter (like it should be, Islamabad eatries need to understand that you DON'T HAVE TO serve everything grilled on a sizzler), pink in the inside, juicy and tender; Bull Steak House Bahria got everything right. Mashed potatoes were nice too with a buttery flavour, perfectly salted, a bit fluffy and rightly mashed. The staff was courteous and the ambience quite nice, minus you can smell everything being cooked in the kitchen and some spices being cooked in the kitchen kept tickling my nose lol. 

The price was Rs. 990+T. Totally recommended.

Had this solid 4/5 Chicken Mushroom Lasagna at ox.grill I totes love this place because it's good in every aspect; be it the ambience, the service, taste or portion size. I love how they have your food ready before you finish the appetizers. The quantity was generous and taste excellent. You can never go wrong with anything you try at Ox & Grill Bahira town. This serving of Lasagna cost 990ish I guess. Guys, it's a must visit place if you don't like to wait or can't afford to take risks.

I’m a big foodie this wasn’t enough for my stomach and so I had to meet one of my friends as well, so, we headed towards BLT. This Spaghetti Bolognese I had at Beef Lettuce Tomato (BLT) the other day is the best I had in town. Everything from doneness of Spaghetti to the seasoning of mince and flavor was just way too good and balanced and the serving size was good too.
Oh and I really like the minimalist anterior of the restaurant and the nice, cozy outdoor sitting area. Such a lovely place hang out and catch up with friends.
I forgot the price but it was 700-800 Rs. I think. It's a must try if you're fond of spaghetti. 4/5 dare I say. It’s a must visit. Apologies for blur photo actually I was more concerned with eating this time.

Yummy, on the expensive side, kinda spicy but oh-so-tasty. Side of mashed potatoes was very tiny and mehh, so were the sautéed vegetables but chops itselves were quite succulent, juicy and delicious.The price of this course was 1500-ish + Tax.
Service was okay and ambience is not relevant here because it was day time, we chose to sit outside and Street 1 Café is a crowded place so yeah.

So, after these heavy lamb chops I being Pakistani started craving for some chai and for that headed towards Chikachino.
Chikachino is everybody’s favourite fancy dhaba in F7 markaz. Easily accessible and a place which offer good food, though overpriced and less in quantity but food id good. I used to like this place when it was less crowded and wasn’t over rated. I always go there for the chai which is overpriced but I mostly pay for the enviroment they offer. Especially the live music, there singer is really good. I would recommend to visit the place in evenings or night, though you will have to wait for a table but it's very hot in the day. Okay so if talk about the chai that is pretty good but as I said over rated and overpriced. It’s a fancy dhaba but it destroys the sense of dhaba as you don’t get the seat at first place and when you have gotten and done with eating, the waiters start eyeing at you and giving hints to leave the place because they have many more customers waiting. Though if stand in their shoes they aint wrong because they have limited area and many customers. They should seriously consider to expand the area. So, if you are having a boring evening and craving for some chai and snacks, call your friends and head towards chikachino you will like it.

Craving for sweet dish, cake or dessert? Can’t decide what to eat? And from where to eat? These two questions are always always tricky to decide, Atleast I’ve seen a lot of people including me struggling to decide  what to order when it comes to food. I’m giving you one option that you might have already tried but maybe most of you didn’t but that is one of my favourite dessert. The desert I’m recommending you to try or to choose is “Molten lava cake”, would you like to know there is a conflict between the chefs USA and French on “who invented molten lava cake”. Sounds interesting, isn’t?. If you’re Islamabad based or you visit Islamabad oftentimes there are some restaurants that you can visit to have this mouth watering dessert, because not every restaurant serves the best lava cakes. Street1 Cafe is on the top of the list, then comes Gloria jeans, Roasters, Atrio and Table talk. If you are a die heart fan for Molten lava you might have started craving for it already. Street1 claims on a social media platform that they serve the best Molten lava cake in town, and they also fulfil this claim, my experience with Street1 was excellent. But if you love trying new restaurants then you should go down-top in the list that I mentioned above. After your diner this cake with bloom your taste buds served with icecream. Well, the problem is just with the calories i.e 1100 cal but not a rocket science, you can burn those calories easily by running 1-2 kilometres in F-9 park. You can thank me later for increasing your food knowledge.

Recently had the unfortunate experience of going to Jade cafe Bahria town. I remember the times when Jade used to be one of the few great options for food but lately they have lost their taste.

We ordered Alfredo pasta & Stuffed Chicken with white sauce. Starting with the pasta, i don't recommend any place based on their pasta only as pasta is a relatively easy dish & anyone can get it right. So no comments there but it was nothing special, many places serve pasta better than this one but it wasn't that bad either. I would rate it a 7/10 easily. The quantity was okay, the taste wasn't that bad either and it had decent amount of chicken as well. #Foodie#Healthy#Yummy

Coming to the stuffed chicken, it is supposed to be stuffed with olives, capsicum & capers but all three things were no where to be found. In short the chicken was empty from inside. The white sauce was on the top but that too lacked any taste or flavor. The dish tasted like it was made the previous day & they just reheated it and served it to us. Very disappointing. #Taste#Bad#Disappointment

I would rate it a 3/10 because i was really hungry so i ate around half of it. But will never ever order it again.

We had tea as well which was pretty decent and i am sure this is the only great thing in their menu.

So next time you are there, just go for some tea & if u are really hungry order yourself a pasta & don't experiment with anything else in their menu and ruin your day.

The total Bill was Rs 1500/-

All in all NOT RECOMMENDED!

Today i will tell you guys about my desi food experience in HotSpot Cafe that is located in Saidpur Village away from the hustle and bustle of Islamabad City and beneath the mountains of Margalla.

This place is very much peaceful and it has all the desi foods available for the desi lovers. There menu almost has every desi food available like samosas,pakoras,chai and etc.More over this place gives a traditional punjabi feelings due to the paintings and sculpture that are show in this desi cafe. 

Now talking about my food experience here.I ordered a basket full of vegetable pakoras(a traditional desi fried snack) with tea and it was presented to me in a desi manner. The quality of the pakoras and the tea was excellent.The pakoras was mildly spicy and less oily unlike other desi restaurants that makes the pakoras too much spicy and oily which is bad for our health. 

For all those who loves a peaceful outing with desi foods this place is a must go for them. I give this place 4 Stars out of the scale of 5 both in terms of food and the prices of food.

Casa rica

It is relatively a new place located in phase 7 bahria town. The interior is on point and the ambiance of the place is what not!  Also the staff is very good and responsible
Coming to food , I tried

Salsa Nachos ; which were too amazing. Tortilla chips were too different from what we get normally at places , these were not dorritos and were specially brought from Karachi to the place. Served with chicken chilli and nachos cheese sauce were complementing the dish. Creamy nachos sauce and the earthiness and smooth texture of the beans made it so tasty And the jalapeños made a good topping . The chips were holding up against all the toppings giving a very aesthetic and tasteful appearance .

 Also I ordered
Quesadillas ;
It was a good choice. Chargrilled chicken strips and cheddar cheese along with sautéed vegetables made this dish another amazing hit.Fried in triangle shapes of seasoned white chicken meat, Cheddar cheese blend, with sautéed veggies and sauce folded and grill-pressed inside a warm flour tortilla , turned out a blast of good favours altogether.

 Also i ordered margaritas , drinks were good and fresh as all margaritas are. But as compared to quantity drinks were too expensive.
All the food was good and the place is a good choice for having good experience with friends or family . So if you’re planning to try a new place , Give it a try !

What is the best thing about food courts? SO MANY OPTIONS! I recently went with my family for shopping to Centaurus & finally when we got tired from all the shopping we decided to eat something! The food court of centaurus is quite big from desi to not so desi options and from expensive to cheap options! We were in the mood of some chinese & went to China grill.

 They have amazing deals going on in minimum price to cater more people with a lot of options

 We took a deal of 1300 rupees which had 3 chinese platters with your choice of side options combined with rice chowmein & spring rolls along with 2 soups & 3 drinks.#Tasty#Foodie#Yum#Chinese

 Yes you heard it right! All of this in 1300 rupees. We were amazed by this offer & didn't expect the quality to be great considering the low price

 But surprisingly the food quality was great.

 They had a choice of hot n sour soup & chicken corn soup & We took one from each option

 The food arrived within 15 minutes & was hot and fresh! We were 4 people and still couldn't finish the food as the serving size was huge

 In side options we chose kung pao chicken & oyster chicken which were both equally good! The quantity of rice & chowmein was great as well and considering we got all this for PKR 1300/-
It was a total steal guys.
